Bethesda Softworks has filed a trademark for Fallout 4 following rumours last week that the company may have something to announce at the Video Game Awards next month.
On November 14 Fallout publisher Bethesda Softworks filed a trademark for Fallout 4 which covers things such as merchandise and digital media. This trademark filling follows rumours surrounding a new teaser website named Survivor 2299 which holds a counter that’s set to expire on December 11 which is the same date that this year’s Spike Video Game Awards is being held.
As you may or may not know, the VGA Awards is also an event where previously unannounced games are unveiled so it seems like a fitting time for Bethesda to unveil a new game. There are however some concerns that the teaser site could be fake with some Reddit users finding that the domain was registered in Poland and not the Bethesda’s hometown of Maryland, Washington DC.
