Today Advent announced the launch of its new Advent Vega Tegra Note 7 tablet, A powerful 7-inch tablet which, as you might have guessed is powered by NVIDIA’s powerfull Tegra 4 chip. What’s more UK Electrical Giant Currys & PC World will be welcoming the tablet into it’s stores on November 15 for a reasonable price of £179.99.

For the price the Advent Vega Tegra Note 7 is a powerful tablet packed with NVIDIA inside. As already mentioned the device holds NVIDIA’s Tegra 4 72-core GeForce GPU along side a quad-core Cortex-A15 CPU which is claimed to make this Android tablet the fastest in the world. Along with the 7-inch (1280 x 800) screen it also includes a stylus with the Nvidia DirectStylus software and technology, which makes it a direct competitor to Samsung’s Note range.

There’s more NVIDIA in this device than you can shake a stick at. The camera itself is powered in part by the Tegra 4 along side NVIDIA Chimera computational photography architecture which makes the 5-megapixel rear camera perform much better. The device also comes with a 0.3-megapixel front facing camera.

Let’s not forget the audio, which as you might expect by now is powered by NVIDIA’s PureAudio technology. The two front facing speakers, similar to that on the HTC One are said to offer “rich, deep audio including the widest frequency range in a tablet through front-facing stereo speakers with a bass-reflex port”. Impressive.

In terms of storage we can expect the device to come with 16GB internally with support for a MicroSD card up to 32 GB. The battery is also a powerful one which is said to offer over 10 hours for HD video playback.

The device will be available for pre-order from Thursday, November 7 – that’s tomorrow, and is expected to launch throughout Currys & PC World on November 15th, at a starting price of £179.99.
