monthly favourite

I’m back again with my top pick of apps for the month of October, not many apps have made me swoon this month but here’s two that have earned a half swoon, a sort of swoo if you will.

1) Plants Vs. Zombies 2

This one is the most obvious one out of the bunch, I originally wrote about PVZ2 being a thing back in May and I have impatiently been waiting for it’s release ever since.  If you want an in-depth review check out Robin’s words of wisdom here. I’ll sum it up, you go back in time because of a taco, there’s a few new plants to play around with, it’s the old PVZ we all know and love just shiny and new.

PVZ2 It’s About Time is available on iOS and Android and is a free to play game.

2) Bloop

Bloop is described as a tabletop finger frenzy and I couldn’t agree more. It’s beautifully simple, 2 to 4 people can play, you just choose a colour and then repeated mash any block that appears on the screen in your chosen colour and the person who hit their colour the most wins. My advice; this game is designed to be played on a tablet, you’d be a fool to play it on anything else and also, try not to play Bloop with anyone that has long nails, I actually suffered a Bloop injury guys, this is my life.

Bloop is available on iOS (£1.99), Android (£0.61) and the Amazon App Store (£0.65).

So that’s all that tickled my fancy during October, I’d like to say that I didn’t have enough time to explore the app store because I was too busy jumping in leaves and wearing mittens but I’d be lying, I’ve been marathoning The Walking Dead and playing Mario Kart 7, enjoying Autumn from the inside.

As always, if you have any suggestions for apps I should check out please leave them in the comments below and I will glance at them occasionally when not falling in love with Rick – I’m sorry okay!
