When Sony revealed all on the PlayStation 4 console one of the next-generation’s new features was the ability to add over 2,000 friends, good news that feature is now available on the PSN now, the bad news is that you might not be able to see them all just yet.

If you’re struggling to fit all of your 100+ friends on your PlayStation 3 you’ll be happy to know that you can now add those feeling a little left out. There’s one problem, the only way to see those friends who fall over the old 100 friend cap is either through the PS Vita, or the currently unavailable PlayStation 4 console and smartphone app.

From now however if you have more than the 100 friend cap on the PlayStation 3 your friends will be filtered, most likely showing you online friends, or you can manually set and lock a pre-determined friend list to be used when you’re playing on the PlayStation 3.
