In a recent tweet reported by Siliconera, Tekken producer, Katsuhiro Harada, said he would consider releasing Tekken on Steam. This would be the first release of a Tekken fighting game on the PC, not counting Street Fighter X Tekken, released in May of 2012. This may turn out to be nothing but a polite response, but the idea has PC fans of the classic fighting series excited.
It seems that most people are requesting the release of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 from the comments on SIliconcera’s article, but the joy I would feel at buying a Tekken Anthology pack on Steam with all the old Tekken games borders on wrongness. Then again, they’d have to upscale the games so they aren’t tiny boxes in the middle of my screen and map controller support for the PC into them or Paul would look even clunkier than I remember.
