Adewale, Assassin

From very early on in Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flags life it was well know that Adewale, Edwards quartermaster would be getting his own DLC.  Those of you have finished Captain Edward Kenway’s epic story in Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag will know a bit more than what we did back when Freedom Cry was announced. We have a good feel for what he’s doing after his and Edward’s story ends, but Freedom Cry will really show us.

Freedom Cry 02Set 15 years after the time frame of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, Adewale finds himself ship wrecked on the island of Saint Domingue, looking for a way to escape. The nine mission long DLC should last about four hours which is great news for fans of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. It’ll no doubt answer some questions, as well as have you ask a lot more!

Born a slaveAdéwalé found freedom as a pirate aboard theJackdaw as Captain Edward Kenway‘s second-in-command. Fifteen years later, Adéwalé has become a trained assassin and finds himself shipwrecked in Saint-Domingue with no weapon nor crew, starting a new adventure of his own.

Freedom Cry 01Adewale, to me looks to be a brutish Assassin using his strength and power to his advantage. He’s equipped with the now standard two hidden blades, a machete, a Blunderbuss and like his fellow Assassin Edward, a blowpipe.

The Freedom Cry DLC will release December 17th for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3.  There is still no news on a release date for the PC version of Freedom Cry or if it will be coming to the Wii U at all. Price wise, Freedom Cry will be part of the Season Pass for those who have purchased it, but for those who don’t have the season price you can expect to pay a small sum of money.
