GTA V Waiting

Gaming social network and games tracking site Raptr have revealed that Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V is the most played new release of 2013 based on the amount the game was played in the 30 day window after release, followed by Call of Duty: Ghosts which launched in November.

Raptr have recently released an infographic showing some stats that they’ve accumulated over the year including 2013’s most played Xbox 360 and PC games, the game with the longest play time before taking a break, and the most played new IP and DLC/Expansion.

Amongst the list Black Ops II has come in as the most played Xbox 360 game of 2013 with Grand Theft Auto closely following behind. The most played PC game of 2013 also doesn’t come as much of a surprise as League of Legends takes the crown followed by another MOBA, DOTA 2.

The most played new IP of 2013 is the MMORPG, Path of Exile which launched in October this year, closely followed by Defiance, another MMORPG which launched earlier in 2013.

Terraria took the crown for the most played DLC/Expansion followed by Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm based on the % of gameplay increase over a 30 day period following the DLC/Expansions launch.

Finally Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was the game that took the “No Bathroom Break” award with the longest average gameplay session 30 days after launch at 3.14 hours.

Raptr have released an infographic filled with all of the information which you can find at the source link below. My question to you is, what has taken up most of your time this year? Does it match up with Raptr’s stats, or have you been playing something completely different this year?
