UK studio Hello Games, the developers behind Joe Danger, pretty much stole the show at VGX this past weekend with the unveiling of their upcoming title No Man’s Sky.
No Man’s Sky looks absolutely spectacular. This exploration-sim is a massive, procedurally generated game giving you the freedom to explore both land, sea, air, and space. “It’s a huge game,” said Hello Games’ Sean Murray. “We wanted to make a game about exploration. And we wanted to make something that was real.”
The trailer, which you can see above, is just a few of the examples of environments you’ll be able to explore. But you’re not alone in this exploration sim. You’re by no means “at the top of the food chain” as Murray describes it, and from the trailer above you can see that combat, whether it be on foot, in the air, or even in space is a key part to No Man’s Sky.
At present there’s no release plans for the game just yet.
