Konami has today announced the release date for it’s next game in the popular game series Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, that will act as a prequel to the future release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
Set to be released on March 20, 2014 in Europe on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and Sony’s PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, priced at £29.99 for retail or £19.99 for digital download on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 with digital versions of the game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are price at £29.99.
The game itself offers an new open world environment with advances in AI and realistic tropes to the world like day and night changes. As well as announcement Konami have kindly chucked two screenshots our way as well, one of which features Xbox exclusive character Raiden in his Metal Gear Rising form, hanging about in it.
Those purchasing the game on Xbox 360 and Xbox One they’ll be pleased to hear that they’ll be getting an exclusive “Jamais Vu” mission, just like the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, this time however it doesn’t involve the polygon classic Snake, it actually features Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Raiden!
