Owww, ah, ah, ah, ah! No I’ve not stubbed my toe on the coffee table. Davie Draiman’s angry monkey call signals the release of Rocksmith’s new DLC this week with an assemblage of drop D demonic tracks from Disturbed.

Learn to play some satisfyingly chunky riffs with the excellent offering of songs this week and chug away like Dan Donegan on your wooden wonder-beast. The three new tracks are taken from debut album, The Sickness and the latest offering from 2010’s Asylum.

The band rose to dizzying heights in the late 90’s with a renaming of the group (previously Brawl) and a replacement singer whose tones were the equivalent of Phil Collins after gargling with carbolic soap. The sound of Disturbed joined a generation of bands that had became popular in the mid to late nineties such as Slipknot and Korn in a new wave of heavy metal (Please note, Korn used to be a lot heavier).

The Rocksmith 2014 track-list is expanded by three, which are:

  • Down With the Sickness
  • Voices
  • Asylum

You can check out highlights of the DLC in the trailer above and can purchase them in the Rocksmith store on your chosen gaming machine for $2.99/£2.39 per track or $7.99/£6.39 for the whole set.

Keep an eye on N3 and your fingers firmly on your fretboard for your weekly Rocksmith 2014 DLC update.
