In the latest batch of screenshots for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U we see that Rosalina is one of the taller characters in the game being marginally taller than Mario and Princess Peach. But is that necessarily a good thing?

Nintendo have released a bag full of new screenshots for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U which shows off the newly announced Zelda, Pikachu, Luma and Assist Trophy Starfy, a 3DS level that features Samus, Luma, and Rosalina, and of course the image that shows Rosalina towering over Mario and Princess Peach.

Along with the image, director Masahiro Sakurai wrote on the Miiverse: “Rosalina’s got height! She is seriously tall! However, she boasts an anti-gravity effect, so she’s very light.”

Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS is set to launch some time this year. I’m really looking forward to it! Are you?

Mario is really only about 4’0″ tall. Luigi is about 4’8″ or so. Peach is only 5’0″-5’2″. Bowser is somewhere between 6’4″ and 7’0″, depending on his posture.

Based on that and the most consistent sizes of her, Rosalina has to be between 5’10” and 6’0″ tall. Amazonian for sure, but not too uncommon for a human woman.
