Google Music All Access Subscribers Receive Google Glass Explorer Invites, Prescription Lenses Announced Too.

Are you a subscriber to Google Music All Access? Users of Google’s subscription service, All Access, that gives them access to every song in Google’s vast music library all for a monthly fee of (around) £9.99 should be getting a tasty email in their inboxes soon inviting them to become Google Glass Explorers!

Subscribers of Google’s All Access music service have reportedly been receiving invites to join the Glass Explorer program giving them exclusive beta access to Google’s wearable tech. The email that you may have waiting in your inbox reads:

“With the launch of Google Play Music on Google Glass, we’ve secured VIP invitations for All Access customers to join the Glass Explorer Program. Interested in rocking out while exploring with Glass? Sign up to receive your invitation below!”

Sadly however this is just for North American subscribers and the $1,500 fee is still applicable – if you have that much to splash out on some beta tech, however, I’d say go for it!

Google Glass is expected to launch some time this year, whether or not it’ll cost the $1,500 they’ve been asking from their Glass Explorers is another question.

It still seems like Google have a fair bit of work to do on Google Glass, as they’ve only just revealed that you’ll be required to pay an extra $99 for prescription lenses in your Glass according to Rochester Optical who have revealed that they’re prepping prescription lenses for the device and are ready to open pre-orders.
