LG’s curved smartphone the LG G Flex has been floating around various EE stores over the past few weeks and now finally we have some news on when we’ll be able to get the bendy display in our hands, though, it won’t be cheap – at all.
If you’re looking to be one of the first people in the UK to own LG’s curved display smartphone but don’t want to be tied down to any contracts, you can buy the handset completely SIM-free for an eye watering £689. That’s right, almost £700. On contract options aren’t looking too appealing either.
Right now you can pre-order the LG G Flex from The Carphone Warehouse from as little as £57 per month. That, my friends, is probably one of the most expensive phone tariffs I’ve ever seen. Oh, I also forgot to mention that for £57 per month you’ll also be required to hand over £49 up front.
Cheaper tariffs aren’t any better, £79 up front will get you a 24 month contract for £52 per month. Though, you do get a hefty 5GB of 4G data to boot.
Expected delivery of LG’s G Flex is slated for February 1 but will there be any takers? I’ll certainly be keeping an eye on this one for a while though I’m not expecting it to be available for long.
