2013 was a fantastic year for us and we have you, the readers, to thank for that! With a brand new look complete with an integrated community we’re hoping 2014 is going to bring us another fantastic year. 2013 saw us break previous viewer records that we held and we’ve had the chance to attend some fantastic event’s and meet some truly awesome people. As 2013 was such a great year we’re going to share with you some of our most popular posts from last year, so without further adieu lets begin!
Pokemon X/Y: Mega Charizard and Stone Trading! – With the launch of Pokémon X/Y literally around the corner, the Pokémon Company announced that you’d be able to Mega Evolve Charizard in both X and Y but each Mega Charizard was different! They also announced that the Mega Stones needed to Mega Evolve Pokémon could be traded amongst friends and across both Pokémon X and Y!
[Updated] The First Installment of the GTA Online $500,000 Stimulus Package is to Arrive This Week. – Boy were you all desperate to know about your free $500,000 in Grand Theft Auto V! As a result of Grand Theft Auto Online launching quite terribly Rockstar announced that they’d be giving $500,000 GTA$ to every player who played GTA Online in the month of October. The only problem is, bugs were still prevalent in GTA Online so the Stimulus Package was delayed for some time.
Grand Theft Auto V Top Five Random Events – The launch of Grand Theft Auto V was a highly anticipated one, it was set to be bigger, better, and filled with more things to do than ever before. Rockstar certainly delivered. Grand Theft Auto V was probably our highest rated game of 2013 and despite completing the game I still thoroughly enjoy playing the Online mode.
Grand Theft Auto Vs Story Mode not only contained a gripping story involving Michael, Franklin, and Trevor, there was a heft ton of side-missions and random events to take part in. James Knack took time out from his Story to check out all of the missions and listed his top five, a post which you all seemed to love!
Half Life 3 Confirmed? – Yep, this happened. According to a website by the name of NoShitShurlock, they had apparently heard from Half Life 1 and 2 level designer John Guthrie, who confirmed that Half Life 3 was in development. With no proof other than some emails that they say they have, it was taken with a rather hefty pinch of salt.
Low and behold, Valve spoke out a few days later and announced that the rumoured ‘confirmation’ was a hoax. Sadly however, that wasn’t the last time Half Life 3 was rumoured to be in development last year.
Finally some other notable big hitters last year were:
iMadeFace Available for iOS, Coming to Android Soon!
Nintendo Opens Online Store, Limited Edition Pokémon 3DS and 2DS Bundles Available
Ryse: Son of Rome Review
GAME Confirms Gamers WILL Get Their PlayStation 4′s & Xbox One’s Before Christmas!
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition Title Update 12 is in the works, but not ready yet.
So from all of us here at n3rdabl3, Happy New Year, we hope 2014 is just as awesome for you as 2013 was for us!
