The very popular DLC for Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, Freedom Cry is to be released as a stand alone game. Freedom Cry will be release on the 18th February on PS3, PS4 and PC. The game, by itself will be about £9.00 and will not require a copy of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag to play which is good news for people who maybe don’t fancy playing Edwards adventure.
As you can see from the trailer above at the end there is no sign if the game will come to Xbox 360 or Xbox One. This may of been an oversight or it may possibly not become available to Xbox owners. Time will tell , but as soon as we know more, we’ll let you know.
Born a slave, Adéwalé found freedom as a pirate aboard The Jackdaw as Captain Edward Kenway‘s second-in-command. Fifteen years later, Adéwalé has become a trained assassin and finds himself shipwrecked in Saint-Domingue with no weapon nor crew, starting a new adventure of his own.
If this is your first time at possibly getting your hands on Freedom Cry, I would suggest going for it. Adéwalé is a great character and his story is told brilliantly.
If you’ve played Freedom Cry, what is your opinion on the stand alone version of it? A good idea or a bit unnecessary? As always leave your thoughts in the comments below!
