Over the weekend a representative from Warner Bros. Montreal said that any bugs that don’t actively hinder the campaign in Batman: Arkham Origins will remain as focus shifts onto developing and finishing-off the DLC leaving is wondering whether the more major problems will ever get fixed.
Gamers have been actively complaining about various bugs found in Batman: Arkham Origins on the games forum. In a thread titled “Patch 1.06, is it even a possibility” a Warner Bros. Montreal community manager responded to forum users woes, but it wasn’t really what they wanted to read..
“The team is currently working hard on the upcoming story DLC and there currently are no plans for releasing another patch to address the issues that have been reported on the forums.”
“If we do move forward with creating a new patch, it will try to address the progression blocking bugs for players, not the minor glitches that do not prevent one from continuing to play. The issues that are not progression blockers will unfortunately no longer be addressed.”
Since the update forum users have said that they’ll be refusing to purchase future DLC until the bugs are fixed – it seems like a reasonable request, right?
Batman: Arkham Origins launched in October last year but Warner Bros. continues to support the game with DLC, one of which is rumoured to feature Mr. Freeze.
