During Motorola’s fairly brief Q & A panel at the Mobile World Congress this week, Motorola’s Rick Osterloh, along with Steve Horowitz, and Mark Randall revealed some information on Motorola’s future plans including plans to launch a smartwatch by the end of the year, they also revealed that they’re finally rolling out the Moto Maker to Western Europe!
One of the main appeals of the Moto X, other than the awesome specs, is the Moto Maker, Motorola’s tool kit that allows potential customers to design their dream phone from the colour of the body right down to the colour of the buttons. This feature has been available in the US for some time now, but since Motorola announced that the Moto X was finally heading to Europe, there was little to no news on the Moto Maker coming with it.
On Tuesday during Motorola’s Q & A Rick Osterloh announced that the Moto Maker is finally coming to Western Europe and Mexico in the second quarter this year, more specifically, in March! The main question is whether carriers here in the UK will take it on or whether it’ll be exclusive to buyers who buy the Moto X via Motorola’s website.
