The Assassin’s Creed series will apparently be getting two games this year and early images of one of the first Assassin’s has been revealed. The title or code name will be Assassin’s Creed Unity. Which doesn’t seem like a title and in fact does seem like a code name.
The game looks to be set in, or will have a period of time in 18th-Century Paris. A place I personally think will make for a good location in the Assassin’s Creed Series. I mean Notre Dame is reason enough to get excited. As you can see from the screenshots, there are ‘Parkour Up’ and ‘Parkour Down’ assigned to individual buttons. This may give players more control of the yet unnamed assassin, hopefully with less unplanned roof falling.
Sources say that there will be two Assassin’s Creed games released this year and that Unity will be the one released to current-gen consoles. So Xbox One and PS4 gamers could be looking at one of their next games. Xbox 360 and PS3 players will be apparently getting an Assassin’s Creed game titled/codenames Comet. The two games will more than likely make their way to PC, but there is no mention of the Wii U.
The Assassin from Unity will apparently be name Arno, the name is of Old German origin and means eagle-wolf. And if I need to say anymore on that then you need to just get out my face and replay all of the Assassin’s Creed games.
The images shown are still very early so take it with a pinch of salt, and remember the details of the game could change at any point.
We will be keeping you up to date on all upcoming Assassin’s Creed news. In the meantime though, let us know what you think of the images, the possibility of two games and Unity’s setting in general
