A couple of days ago we reported on an ESRB listing for Persona 4 on PS3. Today it has been confirmed by Atlus that Persona 4 will be hitting PS3 in North and South America on Tuesday the 8th of April, as for a UK release there is no date for other territories at this time.

Persona 4 follows a group of high school students investigating a series of grisly murders taking place in there small town. After a rumour spreads around the school that your true love can be seen on your TV at midnight on rainy nights, the group finds their way in to the midnight channel. The game mixes time and life management with dungeon crawler to create a some of the greatest games available.

It will be the classing PlayStation 2 version so it won’t include the extra features that were included in the PS Vita version. The PS2 version didn’t include The Marie, The Ski Trip, Aeon and Jester Arcana’s, Animated Cut Scenes, Network Features as well as Extra Areas and Persona’s.

The other Persona games Shin Megami Tensei: Persona, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2: Innocent Sin/ Eternal Punishment and Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES are already available on either the PS3 or PS Vita and are well worth playing.
