Ubisoft has confirmed that the developer studio Red Storm is working on the weapons you’ll be firing in Tom Clancy’s The Division.
Red Storm have joined the development team, lead by Massive Entertainment, as they have extensive experience with the Tom Clancy brand, working on titles such as Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and the upcoming Rainbow 6: Patriots.
In a Ubisoft blog announcing Red Storm joining the development team, it’s been said that although realism is important:
“Small concessions can and will be made in order to elevate the fun factor. Fun is definitely the number one goal,” Cragg tells us. “But as far as the artwork is concerned, we don’t have to make too many concessions there.”
The Division will be a third person shooter, MMO. Players will be pitted against friends, AI and other players.
The game launches next year on PC and current gen consoles.
