Dragon Age: Inquisition’s Open World is Not as Open as Skyrim

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Cameron Lee, a producer at Bioware has opened up about the size of the open world in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

“The virtual world of Dragon Age Inquisition will be many times larger than that of previous games and will be more open for sandbox-like exploration, albeit not as open as ‘The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.” Cameron said.

He also opened up about how long the game will take saying that if players were to skip all of the side missions and cinematic sequences, the game will take players around 40 and 50 hours, but for those taking time for exploration, completing all of the side missions, and viewing of sequences, Lee said there will be well over 100 hours of gameplay.

Dragon Age Inquisition is coming to PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and will be Bioware’s first Next-gen game. There has currently been no release date announced yet.
