Fox and TinyCo have today launched a brand-new mobile game into the iOS and Android app stores, Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff is a time management game similar to The Simpsons: Tapped Out but with the residents of Quahog and the Griffin Family as the main focus, of course.

Featuring an all-new original storyline, animation and writing by Fuzzy Door; voiced by original cast to introduce the game’s story, Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff brings with it all the same casual racism and toilet humour we’ve come to expect from the long-running TV series.

The intro video, which you can see above, sets up the story with Family Guy being cancelled AGAIN, but this time it’s the decision of a new mysterious FOX figurehead – Ernie the Chicken. Peter and Ernie the giant chicken instantly lock eyes before kicking, biting, scratching and screeching through yet another of their infamous fights.

Eventually Quahog is destroyed and it’s the players task to rebuild the iconic Family Guy town.

You can grab Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff from iTunes App Store and the Google Play Store right now!

This game’s Android version was on the Play Store as a beta in December 2013, and was properly released today, at about 8am GMT. About 8 hours later the iOS version was properly released after an early release for the NZ App Store two days ago (which was temporarily withdrawn after several hours). This free game with some IAPs had a bit of controversy while some copyright action by FOX briefly took down a Twitch channel that was streaming the early release version of this game.
