Plants vs. Zombies

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will be getting microtransactions next week EA have announced. Players will be able to buy coins from the Sticker Shop which will allow you to get access to character packs and new content quicker.

You can still play the game as is and earn coins the old fashioned way through hard work. But if you’re looking for a quick fix, microtransactions are here to help!

When Garden Warfare was announced, fans were told that there would be no microtransactions at launch, but the possibility of them was never ruled out. Microtransactions are massive now in a number of games, and generally are expected in most games. From hand-held to console, you either hate them…or just accept them. I don’t think anyone loves them?

“Now you have the choice to play your way, you can play to get new packs and content via earned coins in the game, or you can purchase coins to get more of the packs and content you want right away.”

Let us know what you think of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare getting microtransactions and what you think of microtransactions in general. Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
