The new update for Metal Gear Solid Ground V: Zeroes is now available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. This new update gives each console access to the others exclusive content. PlayStation players will gain access to the Jamais-Vu mission, and Xbox players will gain access to the Déjà-Vu mission.
The Jamais-Vi mission puts players in control of Metal Gears Solid Revengeance’s version of Raiden and tasks players with stopping an alien Invasion. “The aliens – dubbed ‘Snatchers’ by the intelligence group – are externally disguised as camp guards, but produce an inhuman X-Ray when tagged using the iDroid app or Raiden’s binoculars. Raiden must locate and eliminate the alien imposters while evading capture by the unaware humans charged with guarding the base.”
Xbox Players will get the Déjà-Vu mission. “The mission visually references key events from the original PS one classic and tasks the user with reproducing famous scenes from the original Metal Gear Solid. As players recreate these iconic moments, a flashback system reproduces the original reduced polygon graphical style of the original game and introduces familiar enemies and recognisable weather conditions for added authenticity.”
Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes is the first part of the Metal Gear Solid 5 experience and is the prequel to Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pains. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes puts players in control of the legendary Big Boss as he attempts to infiltrate and american black site to rescue his comrades. There have been many complaints about the two hour length of the main mission although extra missions set in the sand box add to replayability. Our review of the game can be found here.
