Outside of the Los Angeles Convention Center a huge banner for Assassin’s Creed: Unity has been hung which shows four characters in the usual Assassin’s garb, which means either Assassin’s Creed: Unity is going to have a four player co-operative mode, or Ubisoft is trolling us on the most epic scale.
It’s not the first time that a banner outside of the convention center has provoked some sort of media speculation. Last year we had Dark Souls II which, of course was announced at the event, now we’ve got a huge banner for Assassin’s Creed: Unity complete with four different characters, one out of shot, three in-shot all of which have a different appearance.
This could either mean that Assassin’s Creed: Unity will star four new protagonists throughout the story, or the game will feature a four player co-operative mode, a first for an Assassin’s Creed title.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity is due out later this year on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Ubisoft has so far revealed that the game is set in Paris during the French revolution, and that it has been in development for three years. Another Assassin’s Creed title, Assassin’s Creed: Comet is also rumoured to land on previous-gen consoles.
