With the upcoming 10-year anniversary  of Halo 2, 343 Industries are set to release the new Halo: The Master Chief Collection in time for this year’s holiday season.

Executive Producer Dan Ayoub revealed that the one-disc release would feature series titles 1-4 with a remastered, 1080p version of Halo 2. It was also announced that players would be able to access the original version through the disc for a more vintage play experience.

Taking things a even further, everything within The Master Chief Collection will be unlocked and immediately accessible. Multiplayer features are set to include over 100 maps using original engines, and a whopping 4000 Gamerscore.

Another revelation was that of Halo Nightfall and an upcoming character reveal.

The presentation concluded with the announcement of Halo 5 Guardian beta, which will boast new features and gameplay modes for fans to sink their teeth into.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will launch on November 11 exclusively to Xbox One for $60 USD.
