The LG G3 will be available in the UK on Thursday, June 26, following its announcement last month. The device has been available in the company’s native country Korea since May 28 and has outsold one of its main rivals, the Samsung Galaxy S5, by an impressive 3-1. It was thought that a UK launch would not be until July but this new date will surely please many consumers.
The LG G3 is packing an incredible 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440p Quad HD display, which puts in a class of its own for modern smartphones. It also has a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB RAM and a 13MP camera. Its 3000 mAh battery is slightly ahead of the Galaxy S5 and the HTC One M8, which have 2,800 mAh and 2,600 mAh batteries respectively.
The mobile network, 3, is already allowing you to pre-order the flagship device. It offers it for free on contract from £35 per month.
If you want to buy the phone without a SIM, you are going to have to pay around the £480 mark.
