I know, I know, I’m late! This was supposed to go live yesterday. Forgive me? Okay, good.
We’re on the seventh day of the Steam Sale and if you’ve still got some money left, or you’re still holding out for that one game to dramatically drop in price, then today might be your lucky day. For me, today’s selection is a bit poor, I’m not a huge fan of RTS games, I’ve never really gotten into the Assassin’s Creed franchise, but hey ho at this price, I might as well add a couple to my collection, right?
So with the Steam Sale entering the last day of the week, here’s my top pick of today’s (yesterday’s) Steam Summer Sale.
I’m yet to actually pick-up and play Dishonored, but it something I’ve been eyeing up for a long time. This immersive first person action game throws you into the silent shoes of Corvo Attano, the former bodyguard to Dunwall’s Empress Jessamine Kaldwin. You’re probably wonder why the world former was used? Well Attano gets framed for the Empress’ murder, so yeah, that happens. From what I’ve heard and the reviews I’ve read, Dishonored is one of those games you MUST play. So why not give it a whirl at this super discount price?
Do I really need to go into detail as to why you need to buy Train Simulator 2014? I didn’t think so. What better way to spend your time indoors than driving a virtual train across real-world routes, or even better, creating new ones for you to ride on. “Train Simulator 2014 delivers everything you love about trains with the exhilaration of speed, stunning graphics, a variety of trains, real-world routes and challenging assignments.” Need I say more?
Okay, so we’ve established that I’m not much of a fan of RTS games, but Banished is something a little different. Instead of building a flourishing town from the ground up and battling other settlements, Banished focuses on the townsfolk. You’re required to keep them happy, healthy, and well-fed. Trade resources for food, fight off illness, and try and survive. It’s up to you to keep these little banished townsfolk safe, so don’t be a dick.
