Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics created and released one of the best games of 2013, Tomb Raider, and with the big E3 expo in Los Angeles merely hours away, there’s rumours that they might be announcing not just one, but two Tomb Raider titles, could lightning strike twice?
Two trademarks which were filed by Square Enix were spotted this weekend which suggests that the publisher might have not just one Tomb Raider game on the cards at this year’s E3 event, but two; LaraCroftandtheTempleofOsiris.com and RiseoftheTombRaider.com which means that we might be seeing more of Lara Croft this week than we first thought.
We know that Crystal Dynamics has a sequel to their 2013 hit in the works, and we also know that Square currently has an isometric mobile title; Tomb Raider: The Guardian of Light also in development, so could Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris and Rise of the Tomb Raider be the actual names of these two titles?
E3 is set to begin with Microsoft’s press conference at 5:30p.m. UK time so be sure to keep and eye on n3rdabl3 for all the news from the Lost Angeles event.
