Watch Dog’s reign at the top of the charts has come to an abrupt end thanks to EA Sports UFC who swoops in with a left hook and knocks Ubisoft’s open world hackathon down to second place. EA Sports UFC is now the third title to land in first place this year joining FIFA 14 and Titanfall in the EA hall of fame.
Elsewhere in the UK all-formats chart, MotoGP 14 also launched on Friday but failed to bring a crowd as it only debuted in fourteeth place, but achieved an 8.4 per cent increase in launch sales, possibly due to its release on the PlayStation 4.
Respawn Entertainment’s next-gen shooter, Titanfall, on the other hand managed to climb from sixth place to third following the release of the Titanfall Expedition DLC for Xbox 360, and possibly because Microsoft released the un-bundled Kinect SKU.
