Ubisoft have teamed up with Rob Zombie and Tony Moore to create a new animated short for Assassin’s Creed Unity. The animated piece focuses on the history of the French Revolution, with Arno only making a cameo appearance at the very end.
Rob Zombie was the mastermind behind House of 1000 Corpses and The Devils Rejects, as well as creating the brilliant fake trailer werewolf women of the S.S. for the film Grindhouse. Tony Moore is well-known in the comic book field, being the artist of the first six issues of the Walking Dead as well as working on Battle Pope, Fear Agent and Ghost Rider.
Assassins Creed Unity was announced earlier this year alongside rumours of a second game, Assassin’s Creed Comet, for last-gen consoles. Unity will also be the first game in the series to add co-op, allowing up to four Assassins to roam the streets of Paris together. Ubisoft have boasted that the game will use the full power of the current-gen consoles to create a living, breathing Paris during one of the bloodiest periods of modern history.
Assassins Creed Unity will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 28th. To see where I want the series to go next, click here.
