Earlier this year, BlackBerry released the BBM app on Android and iOS. Now, it’s available on Windows Phone as a beta. BlackBerry has said that they’ve received “an incredible number” of requests to offer the service on the platform. In this beta version, there is BBM Chats with one or multiple people as well the option to share pictures, your location and more.

There is also BBM Groups, which is not only a private group chat but also a shared photo album. Group members can talk about pictures, shared calendars and shared lists.

BlackBerry has tried to make the app a similar experience to the Windows Phone operating system. They said the design will be “a more familiar, native user experience that embraces the clean, modern design of the Windows Phone UI.”

In addition, there is a feature called ‘Feeds’, which shows you when contacts change their status or profile picture.

BlackBerry plans to add more features to the app including: stickers, BBM voice and BBM Channels. If you want to give the app a try, BlackBerry wants feedback about bugs so that they can improve it before its proper release. You can sign up to get the beta version on their website.
