Activision and Sledgehammer games have released a new campaign trailer for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The game will revolve around the private military company, Atlus, as terrorists strike at nuclear reactors on five continents. It also shows off the work Sledgehammer have put into digitally inserting Kevin Spacey into the game as PMC boss, Irons.

The video above gives us a quick glimpse at the game’s multiplayer and announces the full unveiling of content is coming on the 11th of August. 

Activision have revealed details of two special editions of CoD:AW to be released alongside the standard version. The Atlus Limited Edition comes with the Atlas Digital Content Pack, a Welcome to Atlas Advanced Soldier Manual and the official game soundtrack. The Atlus Pro Edition comes with all the Limited Edition content as well as the season pass for the game.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be released on PS4 and Xbox One first although last generation versions will be available not too long afterwards. The game will be ready for purchase on the 4th of November and pre-ordering will net players the Advanced Arsenal pack.

A lot of fans of the series have taken to social media to share their disappointment regarding the game’s futuristic setting but hopefully, Sledgehammer will be able to win them over.
