Bioware have released a video showing of the first part of the ‘behind closed doors’ E3 demo for Dragon Age: Inquisition. The video, accompanied by a walkthrough by creative director Mike Laidlaw, sees a Qunari Mage make her way through one of the games incredibly large open world areas. Each area will be the same size as all the play areas in the original Dragon Age.
Even though the demo shows off an Alpha build, the game still looks amazing. The area that the demo takes place in is being destroyed by the rift between Mages and Templars, one of the games major story points. The demo see the return of Red Cliff and it’s looking very different compared to the last time we explored it, the demo then moves on to explore Lady Shayna’s Valley, and I am not talking about one of Dragon Age’s sex scenes.
Dragon Age: Inquisition will put players in control of the Inquisition, an organisation that comes together to deal with the tear in the Veil that threatens reality. The Inquisition will do what ever is necessary to stop who ever is behind the tear and set things right. Dragon Age: Inquisition will be coming to PC, PS3, PS4 Xbox 360 and Xbox One on October 10th.
