The PC closed beta for Ubisoft’s upcoming CaRPG, The Crew, is coming much sooner than originally planned, the developers announced today. Originally scheduled to begin next Wednesday, July 23, PC players will now have access starting this coming Monday, July 21 and ending on Friday, July 25, that’s a whole week guys, a whole freaking week!!
The beta will allow for players to explore the game completely unrestricted, that’s right, you get to explore the entire in-game remake of the United States. The beta will also allow you to take on a handful of challenges and missions as well as take part in PvP lobbies where players can compete in a handful of races found in the Midwest and on the East Coast. Though these two regions will be only available in the beta, the full game will offer missions, challenges, and races across the entire states.
Players will also be able to test out The Crew’s in-depth car customisation feature with all of the car classes available; Street, Dirt, Perf, Raid, and Circuit. Ubisoft has also revealed that players should “expect to discover new vehicles,” which is pretty exciting.
The Crew is set for release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC November 11.
