The Last Of Us Not Getting Any More Single Player DLC

Naughty Dog recently revealed they will be supporting both the PS3 and PS4 versions of the last of us with extra DLC, although at the time nothing else was revealed about what could be added. Talking with Digital Spy the games community strategist Arne Meyer revealed that the game will not be receiving any more single player content.

“We just wanted to say when we released the Remastered version, we know there’s a lot of DLC out there, and that we weren’t going to stop supporting both the PS3 and PS4 versions.

We do have some DLC planned, it’ll be multiplayer focused. We’re not ready to talk about the details yet, but throughout the rest of the year we’ll have some DLC drops.”

Naughty Dog released one piece of extra single player content, Left Behind, focusing on Ellie and her friend Riley exploring the world they were born in to. Left Behind also revealed Ellie’s love for Riley which caused a lot of fan reaction. Here is the actress behind Ellie, Ashley Johnson’s reaction to one YouTube’s play through.

The Last Of Us: Remasted will be available on the 1st of August and will include updated graphics and all previously released DLC. For me it wasn’t just game of the year but game of the generation, our review of the PlayStation 3 version can be found here.
