It’s just over a week until gamers get the opportunity to replay or discover the dire situations that Joel and Ellie face in The Last of Us Remastered on PS4. Or in the case of brotkasten, a NeoGAF member, is already plunging feet first into the emotional, survival-horror game.
A large number of screenshots have been posted by the player from the first hour or so of gameplay, revealing the stunning introduction and a bit of Joel’s journey through the quarantined areas of Boston. Some revealing huge spoilers to the story if you haven’t managed to get round to playing it yet.
There are a lot of texture led pics, showing things that most normal people wouldn’t bother about. Seeing as we’re gamers and get over-excited for shiny tiles and realistic foliage, I’m sure many will be drooling onto their keyboards at just how high-definition Joel’s kitchen floor is…
All of the spoiler pics have been removed from this post but if you really want to destroy the amazing first act of the game, be my guest and click on brotkasten’s name above for the full load. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
The Last of Us Remastered will be released properly on the 29th of July in the US, the 30th of July for Europe and Australia and finally, for us British peasants in the UK on the 1st of August.
