Remember back in December when it was rumoured that Lindsay Lohan was planning on suing Grand Theft Auto V creators, Rockstar Games, over the apparent use of her likeness as well as the various side-missions which re-enact similar events the actress has been a part of? Well that’s actually happening now, she’s actually taking Rockstar, and its parent company, Take-Two, to court over this. I guess the child-star’s bank account is running a little low..
According to Associated Press, Lohan is suing Rockstar Games and Take-Two interactive over a character that appears only rarely in side-missions named Lacey Jonas who the Freaky Friday and Just My Luck star says is an “unequivocal” reference to her and her own life story. Lohan’s lawsuit was filed Wednesday in a Manhattan court.
Right now both Take-Two and Rockstar Games have yet to make a comment.
Now, the Likelihood that Lohan has actually played Grand Theft Auto V is pretty slim, so as I mentioned before we’re probably looking at one of her many entourage such as her agent or lawyer who’s also hoping to cash-in big with this lawsuit.
More on this as it develops..
