Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be the next PS4 game to run at 1080p, 60 frames per second according to an interview with Eurogamer.
Naughty Dog are aiming to have all their games running at that benchmark, with the Last Of Us: Remastered set to be the first. In the interview Naughty Dog’s Community Strategist, Arne Meyer said: “I think that [1080p 60fps] is what we want to push for with anything that we’re doing on this generation.”
Whether or not this is actually feasible for the PS4 is another question entirely. Particularly after it was revealed that the Last Of Us Remastered will have the option to lock the game to 30 frames. Although Arne Meyer tried to dispell concern: “I think you’ll find that it’s really stable at 60fps.”
Current owners of the PS4 will be able to see for themselves when the game launches 30 July.
