Sony have announced update 1.75 is coming soon and will finally bring 3D Blu-Ray support to the Playstation 4. Earlier this week Sony released update 1.74 which improved the stability of the system but didn’t include any of the major updates most players are after.

It is not really a surprise that Sony have made this announcement as Microsoft revealed the August update for the Xbox One will also be bringing 3D Blu Ray support. While this update may only affect those with 3D-ready TV, it is a good step in the right direction for Sony who have been lacking a little in large update section.

A lot of players are still waiting for some of the features that were announced at the Playstation 4 reveal, a popular one seems to be a Vita like stop/resume function that will allow players to get back in to their content faster by putting the Playstation 4 in a low power mode instead of turning off.

Sony recently added in an automatic pre load feature for some games. Ten games that will use this feature have been announced so far starting off with Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark and will include all the big release from later on in the year allowing players to get in to the action at 12.01 am on the day of release.

I personally would like to be able to turn my Playstation 4 off with the touch of a button rather than through menus but this seems unlikely. Let me know what would you like to see added to either the Playstation 4 or Xbox One in the comments below!
