Slighty Mad have just released the PC requirements for their crowdfunded and “most technically advanced racing game on the planet,” Project CARS, and you’re probably going to need an upgrade. It comes as no surprise either considering the way some of the absolutely stunning screenshots look. If you’re looking to grab Project CARS this November, you’ll probably need to upgrade your rig.
Thankfully the minimum requirements aren’t too hefty, though in order to get the full 4K experience, you’re likely going to need to update to the recommended specs. I on the other hand, will continue to play Sonic Racing, as my computer can just about handle that..
If you want to make sure you’re all geared up, this is what you’ll need:
CPU: 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400, 3.0 GHz AMD Phenom II X4 940
GRAPHICS: nVidia GTX 260, ATI Radeon HD 5770
MEMORY: 4Gb RAM, 1Gb VRAM
CPU: 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7 3700, 4.0 GHz AMD FX-8350
GRAPHICS: nVidia GT600 series, AMD Radeon HD7000 series
MEMORY: 8Gb RAM, 2Gb VRAM
