For those of you eagerly awaiting a new Halo title to land on the Xbox One there’s good news, you only have around four months to wait! If that seems like an eternity, perhaps the latest influx of news out of SDCC will keep you topped up with Halo goodness. At this year’s Halo panel, the team revealed another map that’ll be making the return to Halo 2: Anniversary as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Zanzibar! The very same Zanzibar that was in the original Halo 2 on the Xbox, and then made a return in Halo 3 on the Xbox 360.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection will come with a remastered and reimagined version of a fan favourite, Zanzibar, revealed the Halo Waypoint website, and to prove it’s not all a dream they included some screens and some concept art for the map. Halo 2: Anniversary comes as part of the hefty collection of Halo titles in which Master Chief stars as the games main protagonist. Halo: The Master Chief Collection comes with four games all remastered in glorious 1080p HD.
If that’s not all the collection also contains all DLC that was ever released for the game including full support for the iconic multiplayer modes found in each game. It’ll also come bundled with the Forge map editor! Halo: The Master Chief Collection is set to land on Xbox One on November 14.
