Rumours, rumours, and more rumours. Motorola can’t seem to keep anything quiet as nearly all of their handsets and their upcoming Android Wear smartwatch have leaked more than the Titanic. The latest rumour is for their upcoming handset, the Moto X+1 which is – obviously – the successor to the Moto X. For a while now all we’ve heard officially from Motorola is that it’ll be arriving in the Summer and with grey clouds now taking over the UK it seems that Summer could well and truly be almost over – but that’s okay as now we’ve got a rumoured release date for the handset.
The news comes from Droid-Life who have heard from their own trusted sources that Verizon will be getting the Moto X+1 on September 25. No other details were revealed as to whether Verizon will be getting it exclusively for a few months or whether Verizon is one of many who’ll get the handset on that date. So that means we’re still yet to get a pinpoint date as to when the handset will launch, but late September seems to narrow that gap down a chunk.
The Moto X+1 is set to be much bigger and more powerfull than its successor with a larger screen, faster processor, better camera, and likely an equally as attractive price as its successor. I’m really looking forward to seeing what Motorola have up their sleeves.
More on this as it develops.
