Tropico 5

Well, it’s not quite the summer release that they originally planned, but at least it’s still happening! El Presidente is coming to Xbox 360 worldwide this Autumn, some time in November (yep, they still haven’t picked a date yet). You as El Presidente will be able to take control of your own tropical island (unless you live in Thialand), during early colonial times and then guide it through the centuries as the world changes and moves ever forward.

Tropico 5 originally launched on PC in May this year and has since received ‘The Big Cheese’ DLC, but never fear budding El Presidente’s of the world, when it launches on Xbox 360 it’ll come with ‘The Big Cheese’ absolutely free! Hopefully that’ll ease the pain of waiting until almost the end of the year for a bit of tropical sunshine. Players can also still pre-order the the Limited Special Edition version that includes your very own Tropico Passport, a postcard from the beautiful island, the ‘Bayo del Olfato’ DLC (which includes a new costume and map) and the bonus DLC ‘The Big Cheese’.

Tropico 5 puts you in the shoes of El Presidente as you manage Tropico, your own tropical island. You’re tasked with keeping the people happy, as well as opposing governments and factions, and lay the foundations for your own dynasty.
