Earlier today Ubisoft Montreal accidentally let slip that the release date for Watch Dogs on Nintendo’s Wii U console will be coming this November. Thankfully for those unsure whether to believe the rumours, Ubsisoft this afternoon has officially announced that Watch Dogs will be coming to the Wii U this November 21
Watch Dogs has been available on both latest and previous gen consoles as well as PC for some time now, but sadly the Wii U version of the game was delayed by Ubisoft for some time. Now the wait is over and players can dive into the world of Watch Dogs and manipulate the city of Chicago however they see fit.
“Watch Dogs will take full advantage of the Wii U specific hardware with a detailed and interactive map of Chicago displayed on the Wii U GamePad,” explains Ubisoft. “The game also features Off-TV Play, letting gamers continue playing Watch Dogs solely on the Wii U GamePad.”
And that’s all there is to say. Sadly Ubisoft haven’t thrown in any little extras to apologise for the delay such as the inclusion of the first set of DLC for free, but hey, who am I to complain? I haven’t even played the game yet.
Watch Dogs launches on Wii U on Novemner 21 in the UK.
