Alien Isolation is now available to purchase and download on Steam an entire day before its scheduled release on October 7 – that’s tomorrow! So if you prefer a keyboard and mouse over a controller, then what are you waiting for? Download it now!

Alien Isolation is set to launch on October 7 for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One but SEGA have elected to release the PC version ahead of schedule at 4pm earlier today. Pretty awesome right? For those that don’t know, Alien Isolation takes place 15 years after the events of the original Alien movie, the game puts players in the shivering boots of Ellen Ripley’s daughter Amanda who boards the derelict space station, Sevastopol, in order to investigate the disappearance of her mother.

Of course, things don’t go to plan and Amanda becomes tranded on the space station where she, or should I say; you, will be stalled by the terrifying Xenomorph at every turn. Sounds pleasant, right? To celebrate the early release on Steam, SEGA have released the games launch trailer too, which you can see above.
