Here’s When you can Pre-Order the Nexus 6 from Google Play

If you’re vibrating with excitement over the thought of owning the first 6-inch Nexus device, this latest chunk of news will likely have you fitting with anticipation as you’ll be able to pre-order the larger than life Nexus 6 from Google Play on October 28. So grab your calendar and add a huge red circle on that date so you don’t miss out.

With the Nexus 9 and Nexus Player already available in the Play Store, in just 7 days you’ll be able to pre-order the Nexus 6 but you better be quick because if the past few years have been anything to go by, pre-orders will likely sell out pretty fast.

For the first time however the pricing is pretty steep for a Nexus smartphone with the Nexus 6 starting at Nexus 6 $649 for the 32GB variant and $699 for the 64GB device.

Unfortunately this just applies to the US Play Store as the link heading to the Nexus 6 in the UK has the device listed as “not available in your country.” Google previously announced that the Nexus 6 is expected to roll out to “28 countries across Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America starting later this year and as we head into Q1,” so hopefully a UK release isn’t too far off.
