arsenal FIFA 15

Last week saw the release of Creative Assembly’s survival horror title, Alien Isolation, and Evolution Studios next-gen racer DriveClub, and despite hype surrounding both titles and many of the gamers I know getting those two titles, neither could shift EA Sports hugely popular football title, FIFA 15 from first place.

Alien Isolation landed itself in second place this week whereas DriveClub crashes into fifth. Both titles have had their problems with some not being able to claim DLC for Alien Isolation and DriveClub’s online mode being practically inaccessible but I thought maybe one of these titles would knock FIFA 15 off of the number one spot.

We saw a handful of other releases this week too with Slylanders Trap Team landing in seventh place, a position which Chart-Track have called a “solid start” for the adventure game. Elsewhere 2K Sports’ NBA 2K15 is in at eight, and the final new release for the week, Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition, landed itself in thirteenth place.

Here’s the full rundown for this week.

  1. FIFA 15
  2. Alien: Isolation
  3. Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor
  4. Forza Horizon 2
  5. DriveClub
  6. Destiny
  7. Skylanders Trap Team
  8. NBA 2K15
  9. Smash Bros. for 3DS
  10. Minecraft: PlayStation Edition
