It comes as no real surprise, but Bandai Namco have announced that come 2015 players will be able to enter the cut-throat world of Dark Souls II on their PlayStation 4 and Xbox One come 2015 under a brand new title. The game won’t just be Dark Souls II on latest-gen consoles, instead it’ll be titled, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, and is expected to land on April 3, 2015.
Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin is set to include the base game as well as all three DLC chapters, Crown Of The Sunken King, Crown Of The Old Iron King, and Crown Of The Ivory King, as well an array of new game content such as item descriptions, additional NPC’s, and extra in-game events which hope to expand the games story line as well as the usual improved graphics and more.
The game is set to be released as a stand-alone game on PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 in addition to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases, but it will also be available as a free update for the existing PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. The graphical enhancements will improve the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions, though there will be no change to the appearance of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.
