This week there have been many reports of players struggling to access the PlayStation Network following the launch of the PlayStation 4’s v2.00 update. Along with connection issues several other issues have arose too causing Sony to put many things on hold whilst they figure out a solution to the problem. As a result, the stripped down PlayStation Plus version of DrivClub has been delayed indefinitely and now Turtle Rock’s Evolve Alpha has now been delayed.
The news comes via 2K who have revealed that Turtle Rock has discovered several problems with the Alpha on the PlayStation 4 thanks to the v2.00 update that Sony launched earlier this week.
“Following the recent PS4 2.00 firmware update, we are experiencing difficulties with the Evolve Big Alpha on PlayStation 4,” reads a 2K statement. “As a result, the test on PlayStation 4 is postponed. PlayStation and 2K are working together on a resolution. Evolve’s closed alpha test is still playable on Xbox One and PC.”
Unfortunately that means if you own a PlayStation 4 and have a code to get into the Evolve Big Alpha, it’s pretty much a useless line of numbers and letters as it just won’t work. Thankfully 2K has your back and are allowing PlayStation 4 players who own a PC or Xbox One to try and get into that Alpha instead..
